Mayor's Education Award

The Mayor awards $2000 scholarships to high school seniors who have strived for, and exemplified outstanding scholastics, leadership and service within the Warrensville Heights School District. The scholarships are designed to help with college tuition, books, supplies and other college related expenses. Download application 

Applicants must:

  • Be a graduating senior from Warrensville Heights High School
  • Obtain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Be accepted into a four year college or university
  • Provide a copy of official high school transcript
  • Provide a letter of recommendation from a core class teacher (math, English, science or history)
  • Provide a copy of the acceptance letter from the college or university the student plans to attend

Applicants are required to write a one page essay about educational and career goals, high school activities and how those achievements will be used to succeed.
