Communications & Activities Department

The Communications Department creates strategic marketing plans and publications to promote city initiatives and programs. On a regular basis, it handles the city’s contact with a range of constituents including:

  • local and national media outlets on digital, tv, print and radio platforms
  • residents
  • businesses and
  • government agencies

The Department publishes a quarterly magazine on a seasonal basis, produces a weekly podcast, Warrensville Reaching New Heights, which features guests who have a connection to the city, manages social media and the city’s website, and creates collateral materials required to support department activities.

The Department also manages annual city activities and events such as:

  • State of the City
  • Memorial Day Parade
  • July 4th fireworks
  • Summer Festival
  • Holiday Lighting Ceremony
